Aerotech Business Park
Aerotech Business Park is a light industrial/ commercial park located immediately adjacent to the Halifax International Airport. The park encompasses 600 acres (247 hectares) of serviced land, with an additional 1790 acres (724 hectares) available for future development phases. The park is owned and managed by the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) and offers high quality infrastructure combined with comprehensive development standards.
Transportation
The strategic advantage of Aerotech Business Park is its ideal access to transportation links and its close proximity to Halifax International Airport, Burnside Industrial Park (the largest business park east of Montreal and north of Boston) and the Halifax trade area. The Halifax International Airport reported an air cargo volume of 29,728 metric tonnes through the airport in 2002.
Aerotech is located 23 miles (36 km) from downtown Halifax Central Business District; 19 miles (31 km) from Ceres Container Terminal and 23 miles (37 km) from Halterm Container Terminal. The Park is directly connected to Halifax International Airport via Highway 102 and Pratt & Whitney Drive.
Aerotech is also directly connected to Highway 12, a high-volume traffic highway along the highly promoted Halifax-Moncton Growth Corridor providing quick access to both Nova Scotia and New Brunswick markets.
