Burnside Business Park
Burnside Business Park is the largest business park north of Boston and east of Montreal. It is home to more than 1400 enterprises, employing approximately 17,000 people. The park has a superior location within the HRM urban core and superb transportation links. Bounded by Highways 111 & 118, Burnside enterprises are within minutes of the Halifax Central Business District, the Halifax International Airport and the Port of Halifax.
Burnside features a variety of retail outlets and has the largest concentration of sales and service facilities in Atlantic Canada. Burnside is the transportation and warehousing centre of the Greater Halifax economy, with most of the major long-haul trucking firms located in the park. Also, Burnside is the premier location for manufacturing in the Halifax region, with more than 100 manufacturers taking advantage or its superior location, infrastructure and amenities.
Burnside Park is widely serviced by public transit. New routes are added on an ongoing basis as new phases are developed and occupied. The park is serviced by the CN mainline, siding and common user facilities (on MacDonald Avenue) and is the largest concentration of truck transportation in Atlantic Canada.
The Burnside Park is owned and managed by the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) and offers high-quality infrastructure, combined with comprehensive development standards.

Hospital
Halifax is the medical and health care centre for Atlantic Canada, with eight major hospitals providing state-of-the-art care and emergency services. There is a full 9-1-1 emergency service in place through the Halifax Region and the Province of Nova Scotia.
Security

Fire Protection
Fire Protection is provided by the Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency Service, with a fire station presently located at the edge of the park boundaries on Windmill Road.
Public Transportation
Burnside Park bus routes connect with five transit terminals, providing connections to more that 40 separate bus routes. Metro Transit services virtually all areas of the park. Frequency of service varies depending on the time of day and on weekends.
